About the Gallery
The Creators Collective Gallery is a showcase and celebration of student-made artwork at the University of Waterloo. Our goal is to offer students a place to show off what they can do as artists and in 2023 we did that with our No Theme Gallery. Our 2023 gallery included a wide array of art forms including digital art, photography, videography, music, paintings, arts & crafts, and even a live martial arts performance. With No Theme, we wanted to show how limitless art can be. Artists were encouraged to submit whatever they wanted and whatever they viewed as art. No Theme was our first in-person gallery since 2019! We held No Theme at the UWaterloo Stratford campus on March 17th and 18th. On the main floor of the Stratford Campus, we featured live performances, paintings, drawings, and arts & crafts. On the second floor, we showcased a wide range of digital arts, and on the third floor, we featured photography and hosted our student sellers. This year we invited student sellers to sell their works such as art prints, stickers, and cards, giving students and our guests the opportunity to buy some of the work they saw on display. Thank you to everyone who submitted art and help make the 2023 gallery possible!
